Credit system

This page explains unified credit system in AlphaLens.

Important Change: We've transitioned from separate monthly quotas to a unified credit system. All existing accounts have been migrated automatically.

Monitoring Usage

Credit Reset Cycle

Credits reset monthly based on your subscription start date, not calendar months. For example, if you subscribed on the 15th, your credits reset on the 15th of each month.

Credit Reset: Your credits reset based on your signup date, not the calendar month. Check your billing dashboard for your exact reset date.

Exceeding Limits

When credit limits are exceeded:

  • API requests return 403 error responses

  • Automatic credit reset at next billing cycle

  • Upgrade options available for immediate relief

Rate Limiting: When you exceed your credit limit, API requests will return a 403 error. Monitor your usage to avoid service interruption.
